About Judy
I am a passionate and effective advocate.
For decades, I have worked with organizations and individuals to set priorities, make key decisions, and move forward with intention.

Over 30+ years, many roles in the Social Sector
For eight of those years, I led Housing Families, a supportive housing nonprofit, as its CEO. I have also worked at the State, for local nonprofits, and for an organization providing technical assistance to communities using federal funds.
In 2019 I established a private consulting practice through which I continue to support communities and organizations working for greater impact.
Working with Elders
A couple of years ago, an older friend had a serious medical downturn. It became apparent that he needed help reshaping his finances and getting healthy, and that he needed to move to more supportive housing. He knew he needed help and welcomed my involvement.
I connected him with an elder-law attorney who placed his assets in a trust for his own use and drew up his end-of-life documents. I also helped him apply for a comprehensive healthcare program and enabled his move into assisted living.
I was very glad I could help him navigate these complex systems, and was inspired to help others facing pressing needs. Since then, I have helped several older adults achieve stability and sustainability.
I am passionate about this work, especially with a growing number of older people facing significant challenges. I draw on decades of skilled, proven effectiveness in the social sector to address each individual’s unique circumstances.
My Commitment
I know how hard it is to confront the need for change. No question is dumb; technology truly is daunting; and yes, bureaucracy can be crushing. I will help you set and reach your goals and will stay by your side throughout.
"In 2025 I was hospitalized for clinical depression. At my lowest point, Judy and her team connected me to an elder-law attorney, designating my sister as Power of Attorney and drafting end-of-life documents and a will.
With a new medication, I felt better but still not ready to return to my own apartment. Judy’s team researched mental-health-oriented assisted living, driving me for tours and helping ask relevant questions. I stayed in a wonderful program in Framingham for two months, then returned home.
I am so grateful for the help I received. The support was professional and caring, and I knew I was in good hands. I’m home now and thriving."
